Our
fleeces come from blanket covered sheep and are heavily skirted after
shearing. We have fleeces available from merinos and Romneys, as well
as other fine, medium, and long wool sheep. We also have a wide variety
of colors available, including white, black, gray, pale brown, and moorit
(medium to dark brown). Most fleece types are available in all colors.
Most fleeces weigh between four to six pounds and only whole fleeces are
sold.
The price for fleeces are as follows;
$6.00
per pound for white
$8.00 per pound for black, gray, and pale brown
$10.00 per pound for moorit (dark or medium brown)
We do have discount fleeces. These fleeces that are one year old or more (stored in paper barrels), fleeces that have not been covered throughout the year, and shorter fleeces.
LAMBS AND YEARLINGS FOR SALE
We have a variety of lambs and yearlings available for purchase (prices listed below). Butcher lambs and older sheep are also available for sale. Note: Stud rams and animals from championship bloodlines may run at higher prices.
